Booking Policy

This Booking Policy summarises key information regarding your retreat booking. It should be read alongside our full Terms & Conditions.
1. Securing Your Place
A booking is confirmed only once:
• We receive your 30% non-refundable deposit per room
• You receive written booking confirmation
Your place is not secured until both steps are complete.
2. Payment Schedule
• 30% deposit per room at time of booking
• Remaining balance due in full 4 weeks prior to retreat start
Failure to pay by the due date may result in cancellation and forfeiture of payments made.
3. Room Bookings
Bookings are made per room, not per person.
Shared rooms require both guests’ names at time of booking.
4. Travel Requirements
Guests are responsible for:
• Flights
• Visas
• Passport validity
• Vaccination requirements
• Travel insurance
Travel insurance covering surf activities is mandatory.
5. Minimum Numbers
Retreats are subject to minimum participant numbers.
If minimum numbers are not met, we reserve the right to cancel and issue a full refund of payments made.
6. Changes to Itinerary
Schedules are subject to change due to:
• Weather
• Ocean conditions
• Safety considerations
• Operational needs
High Tide reserves the right to make reasonable changes without liability.
7. Guest Responsibility
By booking, you confirm:
• You are physically fit to participate
